What should we do after a flood?

  • Turn on the electricity, once everything is clear.
  • Run for the survivors.
  • Avoid Additional Risks. If the flood was serious enough for you to leave your home, be sure you stay safe upon your return.
  • Take Pictures.
  • Protect Your Health.
  • Call Your Insurance Company.
  • Find Out if You’re in a Disaster Area.
  • Remove Water.
  • Mitigate Mold Damage.
  • Build an emergency kit and make a family communications plan.

    The first point is wrong, you shouldn’t turn on electricity unless safe or water is removed properly.
    Add full stop after each point.
